Like a brand new 75 Valiant inside. Starts and stops like a brand new car.
Ride and handling compromised by this:
This bit is supposed to be underneath the car. It was still underneath when my friend bought it, this happened about 15 minutes after the plate went on. Not a big loss, he bought it for the big bolt pattern manual disc brakes and a few other items for the B arracuda . It was just such a charming car he decided to drive it for a few weeks before parting it out. It was actually on the road last year but only lasted 15 minutes under new management.
It also smells and drives like the 70's. Even with the rusted out frame rail it still drives and turns right quite nicely. (It probably also turns left but I can’t swear to it, never tried)

Holy Saskatchewan rust Batman. This is why we need safeties.

This one will be off the road by tomorrow.

I guess the fact that it still rides and handles so well, despite being so severely compromised structurally is a testament to something

What do you mean the shackle’s not supposed to be in
t

I learned to drive on one of those - a baby blue
s
lant 6 225 with a 3-speed column-shifted manual. Looks like you guys got different packaging up there; I don’t think we had that bucket-back bench seat, or the vinyl roof over vinyl interior (as opposed to the
“
cloth” seats)
. And I think the turn signal indicators out at the end of the fenders were only on the top
spec
Brougham version. I know we did not have them on our mid-line Custom trim. And those wheel covers *might* have only be on the Dodge Dart in the US.

The mileage minder on the fender top blinker still works, come on when the engine is working. Its on most of the time. I think of those as “duster hubcaps” they were on scamps too as I recall.
